What You're Agreeing To

By providing your mobile phone number and checking the SMS opt-in box during TYME registration, you agree to receive text messages from TYME Project Foundation about your housing stability plan.

Types of Messages You'll Receive

  • Rent reminders: Alerts 14 days and 7 days before your rent is due
  • Budget alerts: Notifications when your housing funds drop below 60 days
  • Crisis interventions: Urgent alerts with links to emergency campus resources
  • Success confirmations: Celebrations when you pay rent on time
  • Wellness check-ins: Bi-weekly prompts to check on your housing status
  • Program updates: Occasional updates about TYME features and support

Message Frequency

You can expect to receive approximately 8-12 messages per month during the academic semester.

Message & Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier's plan. TYME does not charge for messages, but your carrier may.

How to Opt Out

You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by:

If you opt out, you will no longer receive text messages from TYME, but you can still access all app features and will continue to receive email notifications.

Privacy & Your Information

We will never sell, rent, or share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes. Your information is protected under our Privacy Policy.

Text messages are sent via Twilio, our SMS service provider. By opting in, you agree to Twilio's processing of your messages as described in their Privacy Policy.

Your Consent

By checking the opt-in box, you certify that:

  • You are the owner or authorized user of the mobile phone number provided
  • You are at least 18 years old (or have parental consent if under 18)
  • You consent to receive automated text messages from TYME at this number

You can withdraw your consent at any time by texting STOP.
